Don’t look at them. Look at me.
You can’t ask directions from someone who’s never been where you want to go.
Most women you know won’t tell you that you get to have an identity, life, trip or experience away from your kids, partner, job.
But I will. And I do.
Because 10 years ago I said yes to my first retreat and began surrounding myself with women who WERE ALREADY LIVING the way I only fantasized about.
Here’s what I know about you right now:
You’re telling yourself it’s not the right time.
You can’t leave.
You’re too overwhelmed to even think about adding one more thing.
And I’m here to tell you - that voice? That’s not wisdom. That’s conditioning.
The same conditioning that keeps you performing, caretaking, shrinking, waiting for permission that will never come from the people in your “normal” life.
No one in your regular world will cheer you on when you choose the road less traveled. It will freak them out. It will make them have to think about their own lives. They’ll wonder where you got the nerve to live outside the rules.
That is their conditioning trying to keep them and you safe.
And it won’t. Keep them or you safe.
Life and death are here for us all. No rule following or planning or being normal keeps you exempt.
So here’s what I want you to do instead:
Find the people who are living the way you sense is available to you - even if it feels out-of-reach or scary - AND LEARN FROM THEM.
This is how your camera roll gets filled with videos and moments you always dreamed and hoped but never truly believed was possible for YOU.
I have fought battles against my conditioning that tell me pouring into myself isn’t vital or worthwhile. That I’m an irresponsible mother of 3. That it’s never the right time or I don’t have time for new female friendships. And oh my god IT ISN’T TRUE.
I make the time for what’s important to me.
The women I have met on retreats - both hosting and attending - are some of my closest sisters. They have been where I want to go. They aren’t waiting til the kids are 20 to “find themselves.”
They are wild and awake NOW because tomorrow isn’t guaranteed and we all give each other permission and courage to live NOW.
We are going to the beach March 18-22.
And it’s going to be… everything.
A deep, luxurious, party-meets-prayer experience in the jungle of Tulum, Mexico to awaken your sexy, soulful, alive AF self.
Dance parties (obviously). Women’s circles and group coaching with me. Ocean swims and sunrise movement. Reminding your nervous system and weary heart what safety and sturdiness feel like. Laughter until your face hurts. Authentic and intimate sisterhood.
This isn’t a “fix yourself” retreat. This is a “remember who the fuck you are” retreat.
We play. We cry. We alchemize. We come home different.
